Iphone 15 pro max major changes

In terms of design, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus have finally caught up to the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, but the Pro models have some additional features. Particularly the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which has seen some significant improvements. Let's examine what makes this phone so unique.

No 1: Camera upgrades

According to Apple, the iPhone 15 Pro Max's camera system is like carrying around "7 camera lenses in your pocket." Of course, that doesn't mean the phone actually has seven sensors—there are only four—but the claim is largely true given the flexibility these cameras provide.

The new periscope lens has a 5x zoom support, which is the largest enhancement. You can still take beautiful macro and ultra-wide landscape photos with it. The primary camera features a 48MP sensor with three different interchangeable lens lengths and ProRes video recording directly to an external drive. Additionally, the iPhone 15 Pro's clever depth detection makes it possible to afterwards add bokeh to your images. Additionally, get ready for Spatial Videos, a brand-new immersive format that the Apple Vision Pro will soon support.

No 2:Action button

Retire the old mute switch you've been using since the invention of the iPhone. With the new Action button included on the iPhone 15 Pro, you can do more than just silence your phone. It may be customized to open your preferred apps, take selfies, record audio, or perform shortcuts.

It's still possible to use it to mute your phone, but it's no longer as simple as turning a switch. Now you have to push and hold the button until the Dynamic Island buzzes and an animation appears. Other actions like opening the camera, initiating a voice recording, activating an accessibility feature like the magnifier or flashlight, or launching a shortcut can also be programmed for the button.

No 3: Titanium body and more

Thanks to a redesigned titanium body and a smaller display border, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are the lightest and most streamlined Pro iPhones yet. Apple has replaced the stainless steel with Grade 5 titanium, which is stronger and lighter and is fused to an interior framework made of aluminum. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is about 20g lighter than the model it replaces. Despite maintaining a 6.7-inch display size, the phone is smaller and easier to use due to the exceptionally tiny bezels.

No 4: USB Type-C

On all iPhone 15 models, Apple has finally replaced the Lightning port with USB-C. However, you get a lightning-fast USB 3 connection with the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max that can transport data at up to 10 Gbps. This allows you to shoot ProRes video directly to an external disk without using up all of the space on your phone. You no longer need to bring a spare Lightning cord around thanks to USB Type-C.

No 5: Chipset change

Unchanged Apple Silicon in a new iPhone Pro? Impossible. The A17 Pro, an improved SoC, is included in the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The Pro designation is a first for an iPhone chip because Apple has only ever used it for desktop CPUs. The A17 Pro is actually the first processor in a consumer product to be manufactured using a 3nm process, which allows for a greater density of transistors per unit of space. Apple claims that the chip has 19 billion transistors, a significant increase from the A16 Bionic's 16 billion, and that its power cores are 10% faster.

However, the graphics division has seen the biggest improvement. The hexa-core GPU in the A17 Pro uses an entirely new shader architecture and adds support for ray tracing. The peak performance of this new GPU is 20% quicker, and its energy efficiency is improved. The iPhone 15 Pro Max can now play console games like Resident Evil Village thanks to this update.

But things don't stop there. Despite continuing to use 16 cores, the Neural Engine experiences a huge performance improvement that is twice as fast as its predecessor.
